Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 May 2026

1. Who we are

GEO-friendly ("GEO-friendly", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Martyna Marklowska, a sole-trader business trading as GEO Compass, established in England, United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@geo-friendly.com. Our trading address is Dover Road, Gravesend, Kent, DA11 9PJ, United Kingdom.

2. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the GEO-friendly website, the free GEO audit tool, the email waitlist, and any course or paid product we make available (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3. The free GEO audit

The audit tool fetches and analyses publicly accessible pages at a URL you submit, and returns an automated assessment of how well that site is set up for AI-powered search engines.

By submitting a URL you confirm that you are entitled to have that URL analysed and that doing so does not breach any agreement, law, or third-party right.

No guarantees. The audit is provided for informational purposes only. It is automated, may contain errors, and cannot guarantee any specific outcome – including, but not limited to, citations or visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews or any other AI system. Implementing any recommendation is at your own risk.

4. The GEO course

The GEO course is a digital product consisting of written modules, templates and checklists, delivered online. When the course is launched, purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the course materials for your own use.

You may not resell, redistribute, share access credentials, or republish course materials in whole or in part without our prior written permission.

Payments and Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, which means Paddle – not GEO-friendly – is the entity that sells the course to you, processes your payment, handles billing, collects applicable taxes, issues invoices, and appears on your credit card or bank statement. Paddle also provides customer service for payment-related enquiries and handles refunds and returns on our behalf. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, in addition to the terms set out here.

Refunds on the lifetime plan. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you are legally entitled to request a refund within 14 days of purchasing the lifetime plan. How much you receive depends on how much of the course you have used:

  • If you have not accessed the course: you will receive a 100% refund, no questions asked.
  • If you have already started the course: because you explicitly requested immediate access at checkout, you can still cancel within 14 days, but we are legally allowed to deduct a proportional amount for the lessons and materials you have already used.
  • If you have completed the course within 14 days: the statutory right to cancel no longer applies, as the digital service has been fully supplied.

Monthly subscriptions (course + Vale, and Vale-only): immediate access and waiver of cooling-off. The £17.99/month plan delivers instant access to the course and Vale (AI assistant). The £7.99/month Vale-only plan delivers instant access to Vale. Both are digital services supplied immediately. At checkout you must tick a box confirming that you (a) consent to the digital service starting immediately and (b) acknowledge that you waive your 14-day cooling-off period the moment you use it, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This means the 14-day statutory refund right does not apply to either monthly subscription once you have started using the service. You can still cancel at any time from your account – access continues until the end of the current billing period, and no further payments are taken.

Pay-as-you-go trend credits: instant supply, no 14-day refund. The £4.50 top-up of 20 GEO Trends searches is a one-off purchase of digital credits that are added to your account and made available immediately. By completing checkout you (a) request immediate supply of the credits and (b) acknowledge that you waive your 14-day cooling-off period as soon as the credits are made available, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. As a result the 14-day statutory refund right does not apply to credit top-ups. Unused credits do not expire.

Refunds are handled by Paddle on our behalf – to request one, visit paddle.net or email contact@geo-friendly.com and we will assist.

No outcome guarantee. The course teaches techniques and patterns. It does not guarantee rankings, citations, traffic, revenue, or any other commercial result.

5. Waitlist and emails

If you join the waitlist we will use your email address to contact you about the launch and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Services to attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system; (b) submit URLs you do not have the right to have analysed; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Services; (d) use the Services for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within the course – including text, graphics, code, templates and checklists – is owned by GEO-friendly or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as URLs) and grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Services.

Course ownership and unauthorised use. The course and all its materials are the intellectual property of GEO-friendly. It is illegal to download, copy, reproduce, redistribute, share, resell, or republish any part of the course, in whole or in part, by any means. Violations may result in immediate termination of access without refund and legal action.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to the above, the Services are provided "as is" and to the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss of opportunity. Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in that period and (b) GBP 100.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
