Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 29 May 2026

1. Our commitment

GEO-friendly is committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe digital inclusion is essential and strive to ensure our site can be used by the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance or ability.

2. Standards we follow

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

We also have regard to the Equality Act 2010 (UK), which requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people can access services.

3. What we do to support accessibility

  • Keyboard navigation – All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, menus) can be reached and operated using a keyboard alone.
  • Screen-reader support – We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels where needed, and proper heading structures so assistive technologies can interpret the site accurately.
  • Colour and contrast – Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios. We do not rely on colour alone to convey information.
  • Resizable text – Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Responsive design – The site adapts to different screen sizes, orientations, and input methods (touch, mouse, keyboard).
  • Focus indicators – Visible focus states help keyboard users track where they are on the page.
  • Alt text – Meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked as such.
  • Form labels – All form inputs have associated labels so screen readers can describe their purpose.
  • Consistent navigation – Menus, links, and page structures behave predictably across the site.
  • Reduced motion – Animations respect the user's system-level preference for reduced motion where possible.

4. How accessible this site is

We have designed and built this website with accessibility as a core requirement from the start. We believe the site is broadly accessible and usable. If you encounter any barriers, please let us know so we can address them.

5. Known limitations and exceptions

While we aim for full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, some content may have limitations:

  • Third-party embeds – Content embedded from external services (e.g. payment widgets, video players, maps) is controlled by those providers and may not meet the same accessibility standards. We select providers with accessibility in mind and encourage them to improve.
  • PDF and document downloads – Any downloadable documents are provided in accessible formats where possible. Older or externally sourced documents may not fully meet WCAG standards.
  • User-generated content – Content submitted by users (e.g. audit inputs) is not controlled by us and may vary in accessibility.
  • Pre-release features – Experimental or beta features may not yet have completed full accessibility testing. We prioritise fixing accessibility issues before wide release.

6. Reporting accessibility problems

If you find any accessibility issues, or if you need information on this website in a different format (such as large print, easy read, audio recording, or braille), please contact us:

Email: contact@geo-friendly.com

We will consider your request and aim to get back to you within 5 working days.

7. Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the accessibility requirements set out in the Equality Act 2010. If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the EHRC for advice and assistance:

8. Technical information

GEO-friendly is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and best-practice guidance drawn from the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Compliance status: This website is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard, due to the known limitations and exceptions listed in section 5 above.

9. Preparation and review
